Geoff and I were cadets at the same time at the Redfern Academy. I tried to keep my head down when Sgt Brian Andrews was around but poor old Geoff seemed to rub Sgt Andrews the wrong way on regular occasions. I lost track of Geoff after swearing in but I was really shocked to see that he’d passed away. RIP Cadet Vickers.
