In loving memory of Ronald James Hughes who passed away peacefully at St Andrews Ballina on Tuesday 19th April 2016, aged 82 years.

Loving Husband of Shirley. Beloved Father of Jenny, Gai, Warren, Kent, Clayton and families. Devoted “Poppy” to all his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Ron, due to his Registered number, would have joined NSWPF either November / December 1960.  He does NOT appear in the 1979 NSW Police ‘Stud Book’, so he may have left NSWPF prior to that year.  He also does not appear to have been a Police Cadet.
