Worked many a night shift on the paddy wagon with Rod out of the old run down Manly Police Station, along with other legends Trevor Ross Otton, Paul Hughes and Tiger Prior.
Great bloke to work with and on various weekends we enjoyed a beer on his Deltacraft Islander cruiser around Clontarf.
Rest easy old mate gone too soon but your laugh and humour will never be forgotten.
Dad always spoke so fondly of you, I remember as a kid we did nippers down at curly together! He sure had a great sense of humour… and was the best person I know!
