Barry was one heck of a Policeman. He served in a one man station in the Snowy along with other legends like Bevan Wales, Lofty Lomas and Brian Schultz when they had to deal ONE OUT with the migrants in the Snowy Mountains Scheme. They were tough men – they had to be! Barry also served with the United Nations in Cyprus when life was made very difficult for them by the Greeks. Highly respected. I first met Barry at Corrimal and we immediately bonded. He and Margaret were regular attendees at the UN Reunions. They were wonderful friends. Shall have a proxy beer or three with you at the Hobart Reunion in October Baz. R.I.P. Crowls
