Loved father of Janine, Peta-Lee and Tanya.
Treasured memories will always be in our hearts.
Dear Robert
I am married to Richard who is Robert’s brother. I would like to keep in contact with you. We plan to visit Holland in the future and meet up with family. I believe Rob’s daughter Peta Lee has been in touch with you also.
Kindest Regards
Karen Moormann
By coincidence I found this message and I realized that Robert is a son of my father’s brother. We met in 1957 in Jakarta before we went back to Holland. Uncle Dick and aunt Nel went to Australia. I still have letters and pictures of the family in Perth aunt Nel used to send to my mother (Lucy). My father’s name in Romain. After my mother’s death the contact between the families faded away as often happens. My elder brother Romain, my sister Liesbeth and my younger brother Jan are all living in Holland. I have the family archive of the Moormann family and have paintings of our ancestors. In fact I was shocked to read that Robert died. He is only two years older than I am. If relatives are interested to restore a family contact, don’t heasitate to e-mail me.
My sincere condolances
Peter Moormann
