Funeral 10 am Friday the 2nd May 2014 at Newcastle memorial park, Anderson Drive Beresfield (North chapel).
Max trained at the old Redfern Police Academy and was in Class 129 in 1971.
Max worked at the old Wallsend Police Station but spent the majority of his service in the greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas, predominantly in HWP and later as NC ( Newcastle ) traffic officer due to injury before his medical retirement.
