JD passed away in Wollongong Hospital today after suffering, for ten years, from cardiomyopathy.

Funeral details are yet to be announced.

  1. Gday all. I m John Dick’s brother Neil John DICK Retired NSW Police Sgt No. 14767. There will be an informal get together of John’s relatives and ex/mates etc at 12 MD on Friday 1 September, 2017 at Croudace Bay Lake Macquarie which is about 5 kls north of Belmont on the way to Newcastle. There will be a sausage sizzle just bring your own drinks and chairs. Its a pleasent area with picnic tables and chairs and nearby public toilets. John was always a layback bloke and didn’t want much of a fuss or funeral as such. Hope to see some old faces there. Cheers
