Laurie passed away at 4pm on Thursday 25th July 2013, at Wollongong Hospital, suffering a surpirize heart attack after a short stay in hospital. He had been doing well and was expected home today, the 26th but, unfortunately, this didn’t happen.

Laurie was a really nice bloke and was attached to Wollongong Police Station as a Licencing Sergeant before his retirement.
