Husband of Hilda, loved father of Brendon and Christine, Christopher and Jannelle, Rachel and Brent, grandfather of Madeline, Olivia, Jack, Penny, David and William.
Aged 69 Years
Retired NSW Police Officer, serving in
Darlinghurst (1964-65),
Wagga Wagga (1965-67),
Dunedoo (1967-72),
Cooma (1972-81),
Hay (1981-87)
and Burwood (1987-92).
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Service for GEOFFREY to be held in the Chapel of the Hogbin Drive Crematorium & Memorial Gardens, Stadium Drive Coffs Harbour on Thursday (December 13, 2012) at 11.30 a.m.
Friends are invited to join the family in the Garden Lounge for light refreshments following the Service.

I knew Sgt Geoff Beard when I was stationed at Hay on GD’s. A bush copper who used to tell me jokes but start laughing at the joke before he finished it. I swerved to miss a snake on the road one day and Geoff congratulated me as not one of those blokes that goes out of his way to run over snakes. I knew Geoff as a nice bloke and a good copper. RIP sarge.
