Morris was one of five Crossinghams that were born in Macksville, NSW that signed up for WW2 at different locations.
His brother, Arthur Reginald, NX18228, was killed in action in Egypt on 02/05/1941 aged 20, buried at the Tubruk War Cemetery, Lybia.
I only put this up because I was/am interested in the decoration that Morris is wearing on his right side and did some looking. Perhaps it could be his brothers war service medal.
According to the Australian War Memorial records, Arthur Crossingham, father of Morris and Arthur Reginald, and 2 other sons all served in WW2.
Thank you all for your service gentlemen.
National Archives have NOT scanned this man’s War documents at this time. (For information), A close family member can make a request to the Australian War Memorial/National Archives to have his records opened and made available to the public if they wish.
