Bob Waites Rest In Peace Pete. He skied with us for many years as part of the Moose Patrol. A group of cops who started skiing together 36 years ago.
Ben Pearson Pete was a fellow class mate (we were the last of the old 12 week classes before modified PREP) and was larger than life even during class 232.
I often laugh about the water pistol fights between towers 7 and 8 that we both took part in.
Lots of great memories of a gentleman, scallywag and a genuine great bloke.
So sorry to hear of your loss – way too young for you to go my friend.
In the words of one of our instructors – Sgt Bruce Magee – “Stand easy Trainee”, but I would add “we will take it from here”.
