Bernie NIVEN was a well respected member of the New South Wales Police Force and a Police Prosecutor before his resignation to take up a position as Barrister.
He was admitted to the NSW Bar in 1986, practicing in Appellate & Criminal law with ‘Seven Windeyer Chambers, 225 Macquarie St, Sydney – which was established in 1984.

He laughed loudly, all
the time.
He refused to worry about what did not matter.
He ran late, frequently.
He was easily distracted, especially when driving.
We adored him and will miss him terribly.
